The Schieldt Family

Marvin - CEO/Director of Development

Marvin Schieldt is our CEO/Director of Development and heads up our Executive Leadership Team. He attended Colorado State University ('77- '80), Hillcrest Christian College(now Rocky Mountain College) ('84-'86), Western Conference Courses for Ordination (ordained in '99), and has attended numerous classes and seminars at CCCA (formerly CCI/USA). He worked at BMCR in various capacities (wrangler, counselor, leader), and as a youth leader at the local Absarokee Evangelical Church from '86 through '93. Marvin was a highly involved volunteer of the Board of Directors and a Management Team Member when he accepted a full-time position as the Executive Director Fall of 1993. Marvin loves hunting and reading.

Marvin's wife Alison manages Benbow ATV Rentals and Benbow Cabin Care. Alison graduated from Hillcrest Christian College (now Rocky Mountain College) with an Associate of Arts Degree in Religion. She enjoys playing piano for worship time at Nye Community Church. She also enjoys photography, hiking and watching college basketball.

Marvin and Alison have two boys, Cameron (19) and Murray (16), one dog, two cats and two horses.

The Dreiske Family

Mike - Camp Director

Mike Dreiske has been our Camp Director since December 2008. He and his wife Tammy have been working in various capacities at BMCR full-time since 2000.

Mike earned an A.A. at McHenry County College, and a Bachelor's Degree in Youth Ministry from Colorado Christian University. He also attended Montana Wilderness School of the Bible, Briarcrest Bible College and was involved in Student Impact and Sonlight Express at Willow Creek Community Church in Illinois.

Mike first started as a summer staff at BMCR in 1998 and loves hunting water-skiing and anything outdoors!

Dreiske family

Tammy is their home manager, managing the daily operations at the Dreiske house including the education of the Dreiske children. She attended McHenry County College and graduated from Colorado Christian University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She was also involved in Student Impact at Willow Creek Community Church in Illinois.

Mike and Tammy have six children: Mariah (7 ½), Melissa (6), Morgan (5), James (4), Melody (2) and Mercy (7 months). They also have one horse, two cats and a guinea pig!

They are passionate about working with people and thrilled knowing that God has called them to BMCR!

Jeramy - Program Director

Jeramy Elley is our Program Director who joined the BMCR family full time in early 2009. He's a kid at heart and loves being closely involved in the youth that come to BMCR. Jeramy graduated from Wyoming Technical Institute with an A.A.S. Degree, graduated Arrowhead Bible College with a Bible Certificate and was involved in the youth group at Estes Park Presbyterian Community Church. Jeramy loves hockey and hunting and whether it's his dairy cow suit or yellow socks with yellow crocks, he loves making people laugh!

Laura, Jeramy's wife, is the Program Administrator Assistant during the summer and a stay at home mom for Josie, their one-year-old little girl. Laura attended Montana Wilderness School of the Bible and worked as a summer staff at Camp Forest Springs where she felt God's call to work in full time camping ministry. Laura was our Food Service director from 2004 to 2009, until marriage and the birth of their child prompted her move from full time involvement in the ministry to part time. She also has a soap making business Stillwater Suds.

The Brown Family

Bob - Head Wrangler

Bob Brown is our Head Wrangler. He manages BMCR's horse program consisting of 20 horses, oversees the wrangler summer staff and is developing the Horse Camp and W.I.T. programs. Bob spent ten years working at Springhill Camps in Evart, Michigan, eight of which were as a full time staff member. While at Springhill, he was the Assistant Head Wrangler and then the Ranch Director.

Bob's wife Kirsten is a stay at home mom to their two girls, Elly (3) and Hannah (2). Kirsten earned a B.A. in Sociology at Hope College in Michigan. She worked as wrangler at Springhill Camps for a number of years and then worked full time running their camp store.

Bob and Kirsten joined our BMCR family the middle of the summer of 2006 and are excited about building relationships with the summer staff and spending time getting to know the Horsemanship campers.

The Barnard Family

Warren - Facilities Director

Warren Barnard is our Facilities Director who oversees building, vehicle and grounds maintenance and construction. He attended Prairie Bible Institute for one year and went through the LTD (Leadership, Training, Development) program for Christian camping at Camp Forest Springs in Wisconsin. Following that training he filled the maintenance position at Camp Forest Springs for that following year.

Warren's wife, Donna is currently a stay-at-home mom and home school teacher to their youngest daughter, Brittany (16). They also have two daughters who have graduated from high school. Amber is 22 years old and married, and Chelsy is 19. Both of them have graduated from Arrowhead Bible College with a Bible Certificate. Donna attended Northwestern Bible College and earned a one-year Bible Certificate. She is involved in managing BMCR's Trading Post that sells snacks and clothing during the summer months.

The Barnard Family has been serving the Lord at BMCR for the past 12 years and get the most excited about people making decisions for Christ and seeing Christians growing in their relationship with Christ. They have 2 Labs named Molly and Sierra and Warren loves to hunt the beautiful Beartooth Mountains.

Jim - Construction Manager

The Johnson family relocated from Snohomish, WA to join the BMCR team and began their official duties in February of 2010. Jim and his wife, Kim, have seven children -four grown-up daughters living in the Seattle area, and three kids still with them in their new home: Ben (15), Nat (13), and Stormy (10). Their dog, Ginger (a plush golden retriever/yellow lab mix), also made the move and is enjoying her wilderness surroundings as much as the rest of the family!

Both Jim and Kim are very busy at BMCR. Jim's official position is "Construction Manager" and he works under Warren Barnard on facilities, while Kim home schools their kids and directs our college students in their Ministry Team dramas. Jim has 21 years of experience in commercial tenant improvement with several of those years specializing in project management. His skills are a great asset to BMCR as we finish current construction projects and plan future construction.

The Miller Family

Tom - Overseer of Spiritual Formation

Tom Miller is our new Overseer of Spiritual Formation. Tom oversees the Arrowhead mentorship program, summer staff devotions, full time staff development, Arrowhead chapel services and many other areas. He was the Facilities Assistant since 2002 and is now looking forward to this new direction as he and his wife Maureen continue to serve the Lord here.

Tom attended Montana Wilderness School of the Bible and HVAC Heating and Cooling. Maureen graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a B.S. in Education. They were both involved in the Minooka Bible Church Youth Ministry and Cedar Lake Bible Conference Center. Mike Dreiske attended MWSB with Tom, recruited him to join BMCR, and he has been serving with us since 2002.

Tom and Maureen have six children, three of which are on this earth. They also have a dog and a cat that the children love to play with. Tom is an avid sportsman who is involved in sporting clays and hunting and Maureen enjoys cooking, reading and home schooling.

Andy - Food Service Director

Andy and Christie Salava joined our BMCR family February 2009. Andy replaced Laura Elley as the new Food Service Director and is involved with everything 'food' at camp. Andy graduated from McHenry County College with a General Studies degree, attended Oxford Lane IT Training School in Computer Networking, and earned a Computer Network Technology degree from Arapahoe Community College. Andy was involved as a small group leader and helped with sound, lights, and stage production for the junior high youth ministry at Willow Creek Community Church.

Christie is our Customer Relations Manager who is our Guest Group Coordinator, Camp Registrar and Assistant to the Administrative Manager. She attended Colorado Christian University and Metropolitan State College of Denver. She also was involved in the youth ministry at Willow Creek Community Church first attending as a youth and then as a counselor during their summer camps. She was also a small group leader for a year at Summit View Church. Andy and Christie have been friends with Mike and Tammy Dreiske since junior high and they all attended Willow Creek ministry programs together.

They own two dogs, Moose (a black lab mix) and Sugar (a yellow lab mix). Christie enjoys reading, going for walks and collecting elephant trinkets. Andy loves hunting, back road exploration and sporting clays.

Megan Coffin

Megan Coffin is our Arrowhead Office Administrator and an Iowa native who joined the BMCR family in 2006. She also worked three summers at BMCR prior to coming on full time. She earned a BA in Mass Communication: Public Relations from Greenville College, IL and is a NETA Certified Group Fitness Instructor.

Meg loves cats and outdoor dogs and her hobbies include playing the harp, crafts of all kinds and aerobics. She loves everything Irish and would love to visit Ireland someday.

Megan is excited to see Arrowhead Bible College grow and bring more students in who are eager and willing to learn about the wonderful mysteries of the Bible and the Great God we serve.

Tiffany Schmitz

Tiffany is a Minnesota native who, after attending Arrowhead Bible College in '05-'06, earned an AAS degree in Equine Business Management at Northwest College in Powell, WY. After three summers working at BMCR as a wrangler, Tiffany on the mountainshe interned under the Head Wrangler from March of 2009 through March 2010. She officially joined our team in 2010 as the Accounting Manager, and looks forward to learning everything she can about managing and operating this non-profit organization.

She loves riding and training horses, hiking, and photography. Tiffany has one horse, Shorty, and a young border collie named Roper. She is excited to see the horse program growing and loves teaching riding lessons when there is time!

Eric Michel

Eric Michel is our resident C.I.O. who is responsible for all of the computers on camp as well as anything technology related. During the summers he also joins the Facilities Team in cleaning and maintenance. He earned an AAS in Network Administration from Henneppin Technical College in Minnesota. He also graduated from Arrowhead Bible College in 2004.

Eric joined the BMCR family in the fall of 2006 and is most excited about seeing God change lives and bring people closer to Him. He is a huge computer gamer, enjoys mountain biking and actually likes trash runs (mostly)! Here is a link to his website.

Cathy Hollandsworth

Volunteer

Cathy, the most recent addition to our family, started volunteering in the kitchen this summer and in September 2009, she moved here permanently. She is currently our baker and part-time cook and assists Andy Salava in the kitchen.

She attended Sheridan College from '88 to '90 and graduated from the University of Wyoming with a BA in Elementary Education in 1993. She first brought her children to BMCR horse camp in 1996. Cathy has four adult children: Jasmine, A.J., Desiree and David. She likes to sew, crochet and spin wool. She also signs (as in sign language) exact English and comp sign and loves to sign worship songs.

Cathy is excited to be here on this beautiful Ranch where God's amazing Creation and His Spirit surrounds us...being a part of God's work, and seeing Him working in the lives of campers, college students, fellow staff and myself is an honor.

She is also thrilled about sitting in on Arrowhead Bible College classes when she can and has this to say: I am learning so much about God, His Word, His Truths, it's terrible how little I know about the Bible; having been a Christian for 35 years.
